We will soon be honoring the birthday of the great Martin Luther King Jr.

There are tons of biographies of Martin Luther King Jr. for all reading levels. Here are some that are great for elementary students. Depending on the level of your students, you may read these aloud, have them read independently, or use these as resources for research.

And here is a simple biography activity to use with your students. Have students individually or in groups read and research about Martin Luther King Jr. Then have them write a word that describes or tells about the life of this great hero for each letter of the alphabet.
